Welches, Oregon Welches is positioned in Oregon Welches - Welches Location inside the state of Oregon Welches is an unincorporated improve in Clackamas County, Oregon, United States.
The improve was titled after Samuel Welch, a homesteader who settled near Welches Creek in 1882. A postal service was established there in 1905. The first golf course in the state was assembled there in 1928, and today a hotel and golf resort is positioned there, complete with croquet courts. Welches is home to the Hoodland library, directed by the town/city of Sandy.
